This is a good garden site, despite potential problems with children because the dyke banks are very steep and are about 10 foot high so anyone at the waters edge cannot be seen from the caravan.
Also the entry gate is only 9’ 6” wide and the road is quite narrow so leaving the site can be a little difficult if you have a long outfit like mine but with the usual care a Caravanner uses it should not be a problem.
The fishing is extremely rare in that very few people actually fish this part of the dyke so the Roach , Rudd and Perch are not hook shy and pike are there in good amounts.
Heavy ground-baiting will not improve your chances more likely to spoil them as there is an abundance of naturals so would need a long pre-baiting period best results on Worm and Maggot but also wasp grub
