Listed as Camping & Caravan Club affiliated site. Non members are also welcome.

 

Small, rural and pretty site with levelish grass pitches surrounded by trees.

Also it's located next to a sewage works that only became evident when we walked through the trees to get to the fishing lake. No smells at all so this didn't bother us a bit!

The wooden hut housing the shower / WC block was adequate but looks a bit tired and dingy.

Day ticket fishing on the on-site lake. Lots of carp and silver fish in very good condition and sizes up to mid doubles. Larger fish are a tad hook shy.

Very tranquil and peaceful in a lovely scenic location.

Nice local pub that serves good food within walking distance, approx 10 minutes away, but take a torch for the walk back! Also a larger restaurant opposite.

Onsite Facilities - 22 Tourers/Motorhomes, (3 Hard standing), 22 Hookups, 8 Statics 6 for Hire, Toilets, Showers, Chemical Disposal Point, Washing Facilities, Dogs Allowed on Lead, Playing Field, Fishing on Site.

Offsite Facilities - Food Shop 1m, Bar/Pub 0.3m, Restaurant 0.3m, Takeaway Food 4m, Indoor Heated Pool 3.5m, Golf Course 2m, Horse Riding 1.5m, Beach 15m.

We like it here. Lovely location for a peaceful fishing break and close enough to Eastbourne for "her indoors" to partake in a bit of retail therapy!

We recommend it for short break.
