This site is on the banks of the River Lochay where you can fish in the river from the site for free.
A well kept neat site with a mix of hard standing and grass pitches (118 pitches). A single toilet block is in the centre of the site kept to usual CC standards.
The far end cul-de-sac is very quiet but I prefer a spot by the fishing
The warden here was a bit of a jobs worth some days and could not help enough on others, but still friendly.
Killin itself is famous for the Falls of Dochart and is at the end of Loch Tay.
As an aside I would not recommend the mobile Fish & Chip van parked in the village but the pub across from the site entrance is brilliant, 30 seconds to get there and Hours to get back and the meals are good value as well :-)
