The site is located 3 miles from Boston so that means (for you beach lovers) only 25ish miles to good old Skeggy (Skegness to those North of the Border)

 

Orchard park is a 27 acre site with tourers on one side of the road and static vans the other.

The tourer site has a 5 acre fishing lake (for those of you who cast a line) and each pitch has electric and water laid on.  Whilst the site is well drained the trees are still very young so the site can be a bit windy (more later).

 

The toilet block is very clean, the showers were hot & free. There is a washing machine etc in the same block. Disabled toilet facilities are also available in the same building.

Over the road a small shop sells the basis. There is a Tesco's in 2 miles. The club house has a good atmosphere with everyone being given a warm welcome.

Not much equipment for the kids but for the bigger kids (like me) then the prospect of a large open space and lots of wind is just too much not to resist.  Out came both the kites and I managed to get around 1 1/2 on each with the larger "Spirit of Air Nexus" (7 foot span) proving to be a real hand-full in the morning breeze.

For those of you looking for a quiet relaxed site from which to venture out into the changing Lincolnshire countryside, from the flat fields around Spalding to the Hills (Wolds) and what appears (to some of Lincs. folk) mountains at Lincoln to some of the best Sandy Beaches on the East Coast, then this is for you
