We purchased a caravan (from a now defunct group) and got two weeks FREE here
So a good time was had by all especially the kids even though now we embarrass them with the pictures as this was quite a while ago (1995)
Large site 500 acres, part sloping
Built around the 15 Century farm buildings almost like a little village
Access from main road by long drive so that the site is completely hidden from the road , apart from the sign you would not know it's there.
Facilities
10 amp hook ups open and under cover storage
very clean showers (50) toilets laundries ( these are in each of the four camping fields each field is separate and wardened )
Heated indoor swimming pool,
Snooker room 3 tables (locked access by key only )
Food / Accessory shop,
Take Away,
Cafe,
3 Bars, two quiet and one family bar plus entertainment
Horse riding,
Pet mini zoo,
18 hole golf course,
Security is GOOD dog patrols at night, site is invisible from road so no passing trade for bars
The one big surprise was that after 11pm the site was so quiet you could hear the badgers and foxes in the nearby woods
Only down for me no fishing on site but sea close by so sea fishing instead
Open: Beginning of April to end of October.
