Free Fishing -1 mile stretch of River Trent for the private use of site occupants

Now a commercial site with all grass pitches, electric hook ups and rally field

There are toilets and showers (red hot too!), fresh clean water, a washing room with twin tub and indoor drying.

Grass is very short and the site is very!! clean and tidy.

Lincoln is 1/4 hour away, and Mr John provided us with enough places to visit within 1 hours drive for a month.

Some of the local attractions and walks are: Sundown Pets Garden, World of Robin Hood, Lincoln, Doddington Hall, Leverton Windmill, and even a Japanese Garden are all nearby.

Very worthwhile visit, mainly a rally venue I think with barn and meeting room, definitely a "Best Kept Secret Site"!

Not a CL any more but a licensed site. Still have fishing on site, and now have a 57 peg carp lake 10 minutes away.

OK Folks I managed to get here in September 2006 after years of trying

Well worth the visit for peace and tranquillity the site is 15 miles from anywhere except the pub (The Ferry Boat Inn 5 minutes walk away)

The welcome pack given is a little mine of info for visiting the area even down to emergency information.

Well I didn’t come to sightsee I came to fish

For the disabled angler the sites own water is difficult to access BUT the stretch next door belonging to the pub angling club is easy and cheap (£10 a year)

I managed to fish twice a day working around the tides for about 2 miles of river and caught nets full every time (fisherman’s tale first session caught ONE Dace - the rest of the time is true)

Van on site each pylon had a tap as well as 4 mains 16amp outlets

Trentfield is a horse stud farm I think so they do like dogs on leads

The dog walk is along the top of the flood defences which is also a footpath

Rally meeting room provided free of charge for rally goers
