There are no toilet/shower block facilities on this site.
The site is level and well drained. There are 40 pitches, a few of which have electric hook-up (sorry, but can't say what amperage).
Newspapers are available from a delivery van that comes round each morning.
The site is dog friendly and has a dog walk, complete with pooper scooper's and bins.
Although this site allows kids and the pub next door has some play equipment in it's gardens, it is a quiet site.
We were there week 2 March 2002, it's still the same.
The ownership of the waterfront pub changed but still have real ale and serve good food at reasonable prices.
The site is good for fishing as it is next to the Chesterfield canal and the river Trent.
