Little Switzerland

Little Switzerland is situated on the Warren at Folkestone, this is a nature reserve so wildlife is plentiful so when you sit atthe bar you will see lots of rabbits and birdlife a nature lovers paradise.

But

Little Switzerland is ideally situated for the Channel ports and Chunnel is usually open March to October, so the site has a big foreign clientele group  and is used for Hypermarché raids by UK folk, as people arrive and camp for the night to get rested, so the site is split into different sizes of field with large mature hedges, but remember as ferries and trains run 24 hours a day sometimes the site is busy all day and night.  

 

There is a small restaurant and bar on site open from Easter for high season only.  Tony and Deb provide very friendly service for all who visit.

 

Caravan pitches have 16amp electric points with water and grey waste at each end of the main field ,  Chemical disposal point is at the shower block as is the laundry room.  These blocks are behind the Restaurant and Bar and are located in Class 2 Listed buildings (Yes we’ve been here THAT long).

 

Little Switzerland  is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute driveto the town, and the small but pleasant beach at the foot of the cliffs (Route - Down to the Café at the cliff top then down the steps to the sea wall promenade under the Railway bridge - tackle shops here for Sea Fishing also the Dive shop too) and round the Harbour)
