As campers everyone seems to quaff loads of Beer and wine, but I offer a few alternatives if you’re feeling adventurous that is

Jelly Bean

1 part Ouzo or Pernod

1 part Vodka

3 parts blackcurrant cordial

top up the glass with lemonade and ice and sit down......

The Pernod, black and lemonade is so refreshing but the vodka knocks you off your feet!!!

LOVELY!!!!!!!

The cocktail called -- SHEEP DIP

(Courtesy of a barman in Lanzarote)

One measure of GIN
One measure of WHITE RUM
One measure of SOUTHERN COMFORT
One measure of BLUE CURACO
One small bottle of SWEET CIDER (330ml)
Make up to the LITRE mark with Lemonade and ice
also you can add a measure of COINTREAU if you want

This comes out nice and GREEN (yes I know I said BLUE Curacao) but don't let the colour put you off and don't forget its Spanish measures not English.
It is VERY drinkable especially when the weather is warm.

Here's another one courtesy of Kim Phelan (CLIC)

Take a large jug, Fill two thirds with red wine (cheaper the better - makes no difference to the taste!) Fill remaining third with dry ginger ale

Then add: 1 shot Cherry Brandy

                          1 shot Cointreau

                          1 shot Tia Maria

This goes down a treat, especially on hot days!

The liqueurs aren't necessary either

it's an excellent way of getting rid of rough red wine!

Flip Flop

A cocktail devised in a bar in Crete

contains

Cointreau

Tia Maria

Malibu

Bailey’s

All in Equal measures and served shaken over ice

After a couple of these you just flip flop to the  nearest sunbed and collapse

B52

1 measure / 1 1/2 tbsp Kahlua

1 measure / 1 1/2 tbsp Grand Marnier

1 measure/ 1 1/2 tbsp Bailey's Irish Cream

In a small narrow shooter pour a 3/4 in layer of Kahlua, invert a cold teaspoon, just touching the surface of the Kahlua and the side of the glass.

Slowly and carefully pour the Grand Marnier over the back of the teaspoon to create a second layer.

Pour the Baileys over the back of second clean spoon for the final layer, this will form the middle layer, pushing the Grand Marnier to the top.

You can vary this by using vodka instead of the Grand Marnier,  using the ingredients in the following order :-

Baileys, Kahlua and vodka.

Cheers!

One of me favourites is Black Russian

One part Tia Maria, two parts Vodka, one part Coke - yummy

Parts can be to your own sizing depending on the size of your glass LOL

Our Jen's fave is Slippery Nipple

One part Sambucca with one part Bailey's floating on the top, and you 'shoot'it straight back - brrhhhhhhhh
